Tuesday night the kids wanted to stay up and watch more TV. I said no, because I had to go to bed because I had to ride in the morning. “No you don’t!” said my son, “you don’t have to ride in the morning!”
Yes, I do.
I’ve got a lot going on in my life right now–a house that I’m buying, a stepfather that’s dying, my kids are going away for a month, and if it is in fact ‘a slow period’ at work, as they’re calling it, then I don’t want to see it busy–but I ride every day.
That being said, I might not ride tomorrow. I’ve got a muscle pull in my right shoulder that’s getting worse, not better. Plus, there’s a prediction for heavy rain in the morning. It doesn’t hurt to ride like this, but it will hurt like hell to try and pick up my bike and get it downstairs and on the trainer. So if it rains, I won’t ride.
It does hurt to sit and type, so that’s it for tonight. See you on the other side.
